One World Day - Kickin' it with Kenny on Fox 8 TV

Fox 8's Kenny Crumpton and the Kickin' it with Kenny crew visited the Italian Cultural Garden in advance of the 71st annual One World Day in the Gardens on August 28, 2016.

When you watch Fox 8 in the morning, especially Kenny's segments, it always looks so relaxed and seamlessly handled. But there is a lot of work and professionalism involved in producing those short segments.
The first segment featured an overview of One World Day with Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation president Sheila Murphy Crawford and Cleveland Councilman Kevin Conwell who is a big supporter of the Gardens and One World Day.

The next segment featured Hawaiian dancers from the Manivics Hawaiian Dance Company performing in front of the fountain.

The next segment featured youngsters ages 3-7 from the St Sava Serbian Children's Choir led by Nada Martiovics.
Before the singing, Sheila Crawford explained how this is the Centennial Year for the Gardens. The British Garden was started in 1916 and Sheila showed a Mini Cooper which will be in display in the British Garden on One World Day along with the bust of Shakespeare and Dr. Who's TARDIS.

The next segment featured the Hofbrau Haus who will host a German Beer Garden in the German Cultural Garden on One World Day.

The final segment included a ride around the fountain in a Vietnamese Xichlo (pedicab) with Oanh Loi-Powell and others from the Vietnamese Cultural Garden.
