Bharata Natyam style dance at Independence Day

Anju Arakoni, Rajashree Hariprasad, Vibha Alangar and Apshara Ravichandran from the Nritya Gitanjali School of Dance and Music performed at the Federation of India Community Associations of Northeast Ohio (FICA) celebration of the 67th anniversary of India's Independence. They performed two dances in the Bharata Natyam style. This dance is a Jathiswaram which is a form of pure dance having no lyrical meaning.
