Kathak is one of the eight forms of Indian classical dances, originated from India. This dance form traces its origins to the nomadic bards of ancient northern India, known as Kathakars or storytellers.

Shweta Singh introduced a Kathak Dance and explains the dance and introduces the dancers at the 2012 Cleveland Asian Festival.

Shweta Singh explained the ghunghru, the small bells the dancers wear around their ankles and then introduced a tradional Kathak Dance.
