Thomas J. Scanlon was inducted into the 2014 Class of the Cleveland International Hall of Fame on the evening of May 12, 2014. A sold out crowd of 520 (with a waiting list) attended the induction ceremony in the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott at Key Center.

Sam Miller inducted Tom Scanlon. Sam was recovering from a stay in the hospital but he wanted to be there to induct Tom. Though his voice was weak, the words were powerful in typical Sam MIller fashion.
