The annual Cleveland Clinic MLK Day of Celebration took place at the Cleveland Convention Center on January 16, 2015. It began with an Interfaith Community Service.

The Reverend Brian A. Shields welcomed the crowd to the Interfaith Service. Reverend Shields is a Chaplain of Spiritual Care at the Cleveland Clinic. He was followed by Reverend Dr. Ikwo Umosen, Chaplain, Spiritual Care, who gave the invocation.

The Reverend Dr. A. Charles Bowie, Pastor of East Mt Zion Baptist Church in Cleveland, led the song Lift Every Voice and Sing.

Cantor Diane Yomtov, Chaplain Resident, Spiritual Care at the Cleveland Clinic, sang the song Standing on Holy Ground.

The East View United Church of Christ Choir sang the song We Press On.

The Reverend Pam Garrud, Chaplain, Spiritual Care at the Cleveland Clinic, introduced the Reverend Dr. Valentino Lassiter, Pastor of East View United Church of Christ who gave a Reflection Message at the 2015 Cleveland Clinic MLK Day of Celebration.

The Interfaith Service concluded with a group sing along of We Shall Overcome led by the Reverend Dr. A. Charles Bowie, Pastor of East Mt Zion Baptist Church in Cleveland.

The program then continued with Cleveland Clinic President and CEO Delos 'Toby' Cosgrove, MD, the Honorable Louis Stokes and Ursula M. Burns, Chairman and CEO of Xerox Corporation.
