Cleveland's St Patrick's Day Parade 2010

Over 400,000 people attended the 2010 Parade and watched a record number of units march down Superior in beautiful weather.

The United Irish Societies of Greater Cleveland is a non-profit organization consisting of representatives from 22 Irish Organizations whose primary purpose is to organize the Cleveland's St. Patrick's Day Parade. Cleveland's Parade is Ohio's oldest and finest.

Watch (below) the introductory ceremony including the invocation from Father Tom Johns and singing of the national anthems of Ireland (in Gaelic) and the US by Kathleen Cooper. Then parade Grand Marshall John Hayes blew the whistle to begin the parade.

St. Patrick Parish - West Park had a large presence at the Parade. St. Pat's is scheduled to close and merge with two other churches.
