Good Friday Procession 2026
Three Cleveland Churches April 3, 2026
The 50th annual Good Friday Procession covered 3 churches in Cleveland on Good Friday 2026. It began at La Sagrada Familia Parish on Cleveland's West Side at 7719 Detroit Ave. Cleveland.
The solemn Good Friday procession is a tradition in the Hispanic Catholic community of the Diocese of Cleveland. This is the 50th year for the procession - it began in 1976. Hundreds join the procession that visits three Hispanic Catholic churches: Sagrada Familia, St. Colman's and St. Michael the Archangel.
Auxiliary Bishop Michael Woost and many other clergy gathered at Sagrada Familia where the group prayed before forming the procession with people dressed as Jesus carrying the Cross, the Sorrowful Mother, Saint Veronica and more. As they left the church, they walked through the parish hall and trampled the sawdust Carpets of Holy Week. (Alfombras de Semana Santa).
Bishop Woost, acolytes and members of the clergy led the procession to each church and people sang and prayed the Rosary. The second stop was St. Colman Church, 2027 W. 65th St., Cleveland, for the next part of the Passion liturgy. And the final stop was St. Michael the Archangel Church, 3114 Scranton Road, Cleveland, for the conclusion of the liturgy.
Here is a video of the Procession at La Sagrada Familia and then St. Colman Church.

This DVD is a Living Rosary in the sense that over 200 people participated in saying a prayer. 3 bishops, numerous priests and sisters and a variety of lay people all said a prayer (Creed, Our Father, Hail Mary or Glory Be) that when put together combine to form the complete Rosary.
All 4 Mysteries (Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious and Luminous) are included and there is an extra Decade for your special intentions.
It could be free for Churches and Groups! Ask us.
We hope that this DVD inspires you to pray the Rosary more frequently. You can choose to view/pray a single Decade, a complete Mystery or all 4 Mysteries. The DVD includes a listing of all the Mysteries.
The Rosary is a great gift given to us by Our Blessed Mother.
