The Village of Richfield Ohio has several places where diverse faiths worship. Mayor Michael Wheeler along with a group called the Richfield Interfaith Coalition led by Ramesh and Jaya Shah established an Interfaith Tour on Saturday October 18, 2025. The tour was designed to foster greater understanding, respect, and connection among people of all backgrounds.

Tour Stops included:

St. Victor Catholic Church
Richfield Sikh Gurdwara
Palyul Ohio - Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist Temple
Jain Society of Greater Cleveland
Chinmaya Mission
Sree Venkateswara Temple of Cleveland

At the Palyul Ohio Vajrayana Buddhist Temple at 3750 W Streetsboro Rd. in Richfield Executive Director Elinore Evans welcomed the crowd and introduced a monk who gave an overview of what Buddhism means. Then some of the items in the Temple were explained. Watch the video. (It was too crowded for my tripod so the video is shaky in parts - sorry.)
