| The fist annual Cleveland Kurentovanje parade ended at the Slovenian National Home on St. Clair. St. Clair was adorned with special signage celebrating the Slovenian community.  
 Before going inside and to the various participating shops and businesses, there was dancing in the street.

 Inside the Slovenian National Home you could find food, drink, vendors, music and camaraderie.
 In this short video, Cleveland City Councilman Joe Cimperman explained the Kurentovanje Festival. 
 
 There were exhibits pertaining to Slovenian heritage and you could visit resources such as the Slovenian Genealogy Society International (SGSI) to learn about your Slovenian roots.
