Annual Puerto Rican Festival MetroHealth Hospital - Main Campus August 3, 2025
The annual Cleveland Puerto Rican Parade & Festival was held August 2-3, 2025 in Cleveland. The Parade was put on by the Hispanic Police Officers' Association (HPOA) which has been proudly serving it's members and the greater Cleveland community since it was founded in 1986. Although historically comprised of Hispanic officers from the Cleveland Division of Police, HPOA proudly serves public safety personnel, from multiple agencies, of both Hispanic and non-Hispanic decent alike and shares a strong commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.
After the annual Puerto Rican Parade in Cleveland there was a festival on the campus of MetroHealth Hospital. It began with a welcome, then an invocation and then playing of the national anthem. Speakers were Cleveland City Councilwoman Jasmin Santana, Council President Blaine Griffin, Cleveland Community Relations Director Angela Shute-Woodson, Dr. Warren Morgan, CEO for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and MetroHealth CEO Dr. Christine Alexander-Rager. Watch a video of the program.
Here are some photos from Day 2 of the festival after the parade. We cut the resolution of the photos way down for faster viewing so let us know if you are interested in high-resolution copies of any of the photos.
