The Society makes contributions to public charities in the United States that have a link to County Mayo in Ireland or to Ireland, or to public charities in Ireland, or for temporary emergency relief to indigent Irish nationals in the United States who are in urgent need of medical attention, are victims of crime, or victims of man-made or natural disasters. They held their annual meeting and a social tea on Sunday June 8, 2025.
President McNamara led the annual meeting and said there would be several special events coming up in October. He introduced Bryan Beigie the Director of Exercise Sector at John Carroll University. Bryan thanked the Mayo Society for their support of the sports relationships that are being built between Cleveland and Ireland.
