Aristotle lecture by Dr. Peter Gilbert Greek Cultural Garden 1000 East Blvd. Cleveland August 4, 2024
The Greek Garden Association of Cleveland (GGAC) hosted one of their educational series events in the Greek Cultural Garden on Sunday August 4, 2004. The topic of the lecture was: On the Nature of Things: An introduction to Aristotle's Life and Thought by Peter Gilbert PhD. The Greek Cultural Garden was the perfect setting for such a lecture.

Jonathan Cambouris, Executive Director of the GGAC, introduced Dr. George Tsagaris who introduced Dr. Gilbert.

Dr. Gilbert began his lecture by congratulating Ted Theodore, who had been honored earlier in the event, and suggesting that how Ted was a good example of living a happy life as described in his book Nicomachean Ethics.
Dr. Gilbert then gave his lecture which included a timeline of Aristotle's life and included notable figures including Socrates, Alexander the Great, Demosthenes, Philip II of Macedon and others.

After the lecture, Lou Frangos and Jonathan Cambouris presented Dr. Gilbert an award for his service.

After the lecture, the crowd enjoyed Greek food and drink and walked through the historic Greek Cultural Garden. Here are a few images of attendees.
