Inside the St. Vladimir Cultural Center there were other reminders of the Ukrainian-Famine Genocide of 1932-1933. George Jaskiw introduced a short film from a Minneapolis group featuring eyewitness accounts of the horrors of the Holodomor.
George Jaskiw introducing the film
There were many tear-filled eyes as people watched the eyewitness accounts of the man-made famine. One could not help but see the glaring similarities between the evil cruelties of Stalin in the 30's and his counterpart Putin in the 2020's. The Ukrainian people have been through so much but they have endured and still stay strong.
