In 2023, the Slovenian National Home introduced “Zabava”, a cultural festival celebrating the rich Slovenian culture, heritage and history that is unique to Cleveland, Ohio. In Slovenian, Zabava means “Party” . This family-friendly event featured food, drink, polka music, a Slovenian Sausage Eating Contest, dancing, ethnic food and vendors along with a one-day balinca (bocce ball) tournament.
