Nataša Pirc Musar, Slovenia's first female president, visited Cleveland Ohio after her speech at the United Nations. Cleveland has the most people of Slovenian heritage outside of Ljubljana the capital of Slovenia. She spoke at an event at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in the Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland on Friday September 26, 2025.
Suzana Cešarek, Consul General of Slovenia in Ohio, welcomed the crowd and introduced the President.

Then the Korotan Choir led the singing of the national anthems of Slovenia and the United States.

President Nataša Pirc Musar presented an award to the Slovenian community of Ohio that was accepted by Suzana Cešarek, Consul General of Slovenia in Ohio.
Then the Korotan Choir, led by John Srsen, performed Dober Vecer.

Slovenia's Ambassador to the United States, Iztok Mirošic and President Nataša Pirc Musar joined the choir after the song for a few impromptu Slovenian songs.
