The Lithuanian Ambassador to the US Audra Plepyte was in Cleveland over the weekend of June 27-29, 2025 for the Lithuanian Song Festival. The morning after the concert she met with a group of community leaders at the Ukrainian Museum and Archives in Cleveland.

Before the discussion, guests were entertained by bandura music.
George E. Jaskiw, M.D., President of the United Ukrainian Organizations of Ohio, served as MC for the panel discussion and Q&A.

Under the flags of Ukraine, the USA and Lithuania were panelists Ambassador Plepyte, Honorary Consul to Lithuania Ingrida Bublys and Taras Mahlay M.D., President of the Ukrainian Museum and Archives.

The audience included leaders of Ukrainian and other ethnic communities as well as representatives of global/ethnic groups and representatives of the State of Ohio, mayors of various cities in the area and others.

Of course, Lithuania and the other Baltic States (Estonia and Latvia) and Poland are all especially involved with, and vulnerable to, the brutal aggression against Ukraine. The Ambassador reiterated Lithuania's position of support and answered questions from the attendees.

Before dispersing, attendees gathered outside the Museum for photos.
One final note. As I was browsing the Museum and Archives I saw this map on the wall. It is from Look Magazine March 14, 1939 and predicted "The Next European War Will Start In The Ukraine."
