The Cleveland Latvian community demonstrated their heritage at One World Day in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. One World Day has been the official event of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation since 1946. The Latvian community began the day by participating in the Parade of Flags

After the Parade they hosted visitors in the Latvian Cultural Garden.

The theme for the 2025 One World Day was "Textiles." We saw some Latvian textiles including a wrap, hand-embroidered linens, crowns, belts and, of course, knitted socks and mittens for the cold climate of Latvia. Watch the video.
