The City of Seven Hills in partnership with the Circolo Italo Americano Corenese Club hosted a gala on August 2, 2025 to celebrate the formation of a "Sister City" relationship between Seven Hills, OH, and Coreno Ausonio, Italy.
A "sister city" relationship is a long-term partnership between two communities, typically in different countries, established through formal agreements.
Mayor Anthony D. Biasiotta and The City of Seven Hills welcomed Mayor Simone Costanzo of Coreno Ausonio.
Mayor Biasiotta said, "This partnership honors our shared heritage, the strength of our immigrant roots, and the deep values of faith, family, and community that both our towns hold dear."

After a cocktail hour, the ceremony began with Master of Ceremonies Nick Zapatelli welcoming the crowd.

Then Father Michael Denk from St. Mathias Parish gave an invocation.

Neighborhood veterans of World War II presented the colors and Julie Anna Gulenko sang the national anthems of the United States and Italy.

There were remarks from Domenic Ruggiero, President CIAC and Matt Zone, Past President, NLC. Awards were given to the volunteers.

Then the two mayors signed the official Sister Cities agreements, shared gifts and swapped mayoral sashes.
