The Northern Ohio Rose Centre (run by the non-profit Westlake World Partners) runs the Northern Ohio Rose in affiliation with The Rose of Tralee International Festival.
The City of Westlake has sister city alliances with the Town of Tralee (County Kerry) Ireland and the Town of Kingsville (Essex County/Ontario) Canada.

In this video snip Mayor Wall told a little about Tralee and about the Rose of Tralee competition. He also explained the Chain of Office that he was wearing.

President of Westlake City Council Michael F. Killeen and Supreme Court of Ohio Justice Terrence O'Donnell explained the Rose of Tralee event. Council president Kileen told how Justice O'Donnell was honored with the first Founders Award for the organization.

Westlake Ohio is a sister city of Tralee Ireland and the Rose of Tralee competition and event stems from that relationship. Justice O'Donnell told what he, as a judge, looks for in the competition.

The 2012 Ohio Rose of Tralee Ashley Speaker and the candidates for the 2013 Ohio and Kentucky Rose of Tralee gathered on stage in Westlake Ohio and modeled the hats they were given by Charmin' Charlie's.

2012 Ohio Rose of Tralee Ashley Speaker crowned 2013 Ohio Rose of Tralee Kelsey Higgins in Westlake Ohio. Both ladies thanked the crowd and sponsors.
Ashley Speaker, 2012 Northern Ohio Rose of Tralee, told about her year as Rose and gave advice to newly crowned 2013 Northern Ohio Rose of Tralee Kelsey Higgins.
Kelsey is excited about her trip to Ireland and the opportunity to meet new people. Both ladies families are from Cork Ireland.
