St Paul Greek Orthodox Church Fest
4548 Wallings Rd. North Royalton July 17, 2025
On Palm Sunday, April 19, 1970 the doors of St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church opened for the first time. A highlight of the summer is the St Paul Greek Fest, an annual weekend of authentic Greek food, traditional entertainment, and much more.
The traditional Greek food is a big draw and there is even a drive through option. There is a Greek Beer Garden and Wine Bar offering a variety of beers and wine from Greece.
All the traditional Greek food items are available in either the Dining Room, Under the Tent or On the Deck such as Lamb Shank, Athenian Chicken, Moussaka, Gyros, Souvlaki (pork and chicken), Pastitsio, Spanakopita, Orzo Salad, Tzatziki, Dolmathes, Tiropita, Saganaki with Pita and much more.
Of course the Pastries are very popular such as Baklava, Bougatsa, Karithopita and much more including Loukoumades.
Here is a short video explaining Loukoumades.
I even got to try a Baklava Sundae on the Deck!

Entertainment consists of music by Dimitri, the band Stigma under the big tent and an appearnce by Lefteri the Evzone. And the St Paul Hellenic Dancers, ranging from young children to young adults, perform throughout the festival.

Here is a quick video walk through from 2023 of the Church.
The festival includes Information resources, Vendors, Boutiques with items such as the t-shirts. Koukla is a Greek word that primarily means 'doll' or 'puppet,' but it has evolved to encompass a range of endearing and affectionate connotations, often used as a term of endearment for someone cherished or admired. And tou can see what baba means on the shirt.
Volunteers made sure the large crowds had a good time, were well taken care of and felt Welcome.
