Bastille Day Celebration
For French Cultural Garden Dunham Tavern - 6709 Euclid July 11, 2026
Bastille Day, known in France as the Fête nationale or le 14 juillet, is the national holiday of the French Republic observed annually on July 14. It primarily commemorates the storming of the Bastille — a royal fortress and prison in Paris — on July 14, 1789, an event that symbolized the populace's armed defiance against absolute monarchy and ignited the French Revolution.
Larry Miller welcomed the crowd and introduced Honorary French Consul Cedric LeRouge who spoke about the special relationship between France and the USA.
