French Garden One World Day Cleveland Cultural Gardens August 24, 2025
The Cleveland French Community demonstrated their heritage at One World Day in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens in the French Cultural Garden. One World Day has been the official event of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation since 1946.
The French Community participated in the Parade of Flags which had 1500 people from over 53 countries.

They then hosted visitors at the site of their Cultural Garden on MLK. French American Chamber President Larry Miller told us about the French Cultural Garden. It has an area like a hexagon - just like the map of France. The map lists major cities and has a path of the 21 day 2025 Tour de France.
The Garden also has a yellow bike rack in honor of the Tour de France. Larry spoke about the Sister City relationship between Cleveland and Rouen France and how the first Americans in World War I took the knowledge and experience they gained helping the war effort in Rouen France and started the Cleveland Clinic when they returned to the US.
