Estonian Victory Day (Võidupüha) and St John's Day (Jaanipäev) celebration Estonian Cultural Garden June 22, 2025
The Estonian Cultural Garden was dedicated June 19, 1966. Each year, the Estonian community and friends gather to celebrate Estonian Victory Day (Võidupüha) and St John's Day (Jaanipäev).
Toomas Tubalkain served as MC and welcomed the crowd.

He introduced Trina Pirn who sang a prayer.

Karlis Blums from the Latvian Garden gave a few remarks.

Toomas read a poem he wrote called 'Lost in Translation' which focused on the phrase "Eesti meel' which cannot be directly translated. Eesti is Estonia in English. See the text of Toomas's poem.
Then Annamaria Wolfe sang and played guitar including the hymn, "He walks with me."

Estonian Cultural Garden president Erika Puussaar gave her remarks and thanks.

Then, after singing the Estonian national anthem, a group posed in front of the garden monument.
