The St. Clair Superior Development Corporation and Mandel Foundation partnered on a new public art display. Artist Jordan Wong's latest artwork on the side of Siam Cafe is called "Welcome Home."

A ceremony was held on Friday June 5 and Claire Maurer of Neighborhood Leadership Development Program served as MC.

She introduced several dignitaries including Terri Hamilton Brown, Executive Director, St. Clair Superior and Ward 7 Councilwoman Stephanie Howse-Jones.

Claire Maurer presented a proclamation on behalf of the Mandel Foundation to the owners of the Siam Cafe.

Artist Jordan Wong spoke and gave some history and background of the mural.
