Successful Completion of International Women’s Day & Holi Utsav Celebration 2026
With the divine blessings of *Bhagwan Swaminarayan* and the inspiration of Pujya Sadguru Shree Nityaswarupdasji Swami, the *International Women’s Day Celebration and Holi Utsav & Holika Dahan 2026* were successfully celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at Shree Swaminarayan Hindu Temple VadtalDham.
The celebration began with the International Women’s Day program, honoring the strength, dedication, and inspiring role of women in our community. We were honored by the presence of *special guest Mayor Kim Thomas*, who joined the celebration and shared encouraging words with the devotees. A special *award ceremony* was one of the highlights of the program, recognizing remarkable women for their outstanding service, leadership, and dedication to the community. Beautiful Rangoli designs, inspiring speeches on women’s empowerment, and joyful children’s activities created a vibrant and meaningful atmosphere. Women honored were:
- Mona Alag
- Jaya Shah
- Chaya Swamy
- Kiran Khaithan
- Sujatha Srinivasan
- Mona Gupta
- Meenakshi Sharma
- Deepa Vedavyas
- Vidya Ramachandran
- Deepa Rao
The festivities then continued with the colorful Holi Utsav and sacred Holika Dahan, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. A grand Palkhi Yatra was organized during the Holi celebration, where approximately 600 devotees enthusiastically participated with devotion, music, and traditional drums, creating a joyful spiritual procession. Devotees celebrated Rangotsav with great excitement, spreading colors of happiness, unity, and devotion.
The spiritual gathering concluded with Satsang Sabha and Mahaprasad for all devotees. Overall, the entire celebration was a grand success, bringing the community together in devotion, culture, and the divine blessings of Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
