St Gregory of Narek Church in Richmond Heights Ohio (a suburb of Cleveland) hosts an annual Armenian Festival with food, music, dancing and more including church tours.

Inside the hall there were resources to learn about Armenia, shopping and lots of delicious food!

We took a quick walk through of the Church where some of the vestments and holy items used by the priest in Divine Liturgy were on display.



There was entertainment outside and more food!

We got to taste our first Zhingyalov khats aka Green Bread. It is a traditional Armenian flatbread stuffed with various herbs and greens. As you will see in this short video, zhingyalov khats are traditionally baked on a hot saj, a type of Armenian cast-iron vessel.
