The annual Cleveland Armenian Festival at St. Gregory of Narek Church in Cleveland was held September 20-22, 2019. There was music, dancing, food, games, Church tours and more.
The Hamazkayin Armenian Dance Ensemble is a 15 year old dance group from Detroit with 140 dancers. They performed at the annual Cleveland Armenian Festival at St. Gregory of Narek Church in Cleveland.

In this first video, Director Nayiri Karapetian introduced the group and said the first dance is from an eastern region of Armenia.

The next performance was a dance where a young man woos a girl who is having none of it - or is she?
The third dance was a group girl's dance based on the movements of the cherry tree.
The fourth dance was group boy's dance based on the 1961 Paruyr Sevak's poem 'We are few but we are called Armenians"
