David Gilbert Rotary Club of Cleveland International Service Award

Every year, the Rotary Club of Cleveland honors a group or individual with their International Service Award. On February 19, 2026 they honored David Gilbert, President and CEO of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and Destination Cleveland, for his leadership.

The large crowd included many leaders of various ethnic and international communities.
Rotary Club of Cleveland President Laura Gambrell called the meeting to order, welcomed the crowd and also gave some background on Rotary International.

She then called up Honorary Lithuanian Consul Ingrida Bublys and David Gilbert. Ingrida presented David with proclamations from elected officials.
