The social/networking hour was extra fun this year as accomplished musician Fred Ziwich strolled through the crowd playing favorites on his accordion.

Fred then led the sold out crowd of 430+ in singing the national anthem.

Dan Hanson of ClevelandPeople.Com welcomed the crowd to the induction ceremony of the 2013 class of the Cleveland International Hall of Fame. He told a funny story that exemplifies the cultural diversity in the city of Cleveland.

Dan then told told about the ethnic diversity in Cleveland and how ClevelandPeople.Com recently added a new (Mongolian) community to the website.

After dinner, Dan Hanson explained the process to be inducted into the Cleveland International Hall of Fame. Over 100 worthy nominees were submitted and the input of existing members of the Hall of Fame helped yield the final 7 inductees.
